Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to identify personality features in adolescents who manifest problems in their daily life. For this purpose, a personality test has been used (16 PF-APQ). This test is composed by thirty nine items oriented to the evaluation of daily difficulties: personal discomfort, having problems, school and family conflicts and difficulties with coping. The sample has been formed by hundred and ninety six adolescents who are in the final course of Compulsory Secondary Education (ages between fourteen and sixteen years old) in the Principality of Asturias. The results make it possible to explain certain problematic conducts. This objective will be very useful for prevention and to make help effective.
