Abstract
La antigüedad es lo nuestro. Perpetuar el recuerdo de los hectios históricos que, como decía Tucídides, se escribieron para dejar huella imperecedera en la memoria de las generaciones futuras. Pero de nada hubieran servido andanzas y batallas, teorías de filosofía política, ejércitos y ánforas de nutriente economía sin la humunitas. Este es precisamente el concepto, la humunitas, que de corazón he elegido para apoyar la semblanza de una especialísima personalidad científica y humana que, obligadamente, por imperativo de la burocracia, se nos va de las primeras líneas de batalla.
