DESCRIPTION CHILD ADAPTATION IN SPECIAL ADOPTIONS. PROBLEMS AND CHANGES OBSERVATIVE FROM ADOPTIVE PARENTS
Abstract
The aim of this research consists in to analyze adoptive child adaptation in a new family. The sample is composed of 39 children in adoption with special characteristics from Malaga (Spain). Are describe the problems which are perceive from adoptive parents in the differents area of child development, the changes that they have observative from adoption and the interpretation that they to make about them. The results showed that the process is different in every families, the problems in the adaptation are in the first six months when the child and family live together and the problems can affect ni every area of child development. Cognitive and linguisticts problems, a problems in the identity construtions and social problems are more persistent. Also, the results showed the effort that child to make for adapt then self in new family and as thus families need more training, support and following.Downloads
