Research datasets

Anales de Psicologia, on the path toward Open Science, supports the deposit of research datasets in line with all relevant policies, mandates, and initiatives. This proposal highlights the value of research data, as well as the importance of sharing and reusing it.

We recommend that authors deposit the data obtained from the research developed for the preparation of the article in repositories of recognized prestige, either discipline-specific or general-purpose. In any case, this repository must comply with the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable), allowing for unhindered access and interoperability, preferably in open access.

There are various repositories designed to store and disseminate specific data such as the results of surveys, observations, interviews, simulations, automatically collected data, samples, models, etc.  The University of Murcia Library has developed a help page for creating and publishing data sets. This page should be followed for preparing and submitting them for evaluation along with the original manuscript by our journal.

We recommend depositing the data obtained from the research conducted for the preparation of the article in reputable repositories, either discipline-specific or generalist, preferably institutional or open access, federated in the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). In this case, the link should be included in the manuscript text, for example, in the data analysis section, under Methods.

If the data have not been deposited in repositories, the authors must include a Declaration of Research Data Availability in the Authorship Letter (and, if the article is accepted, in the final revised version), such as “The data used for this study are available upon reasonable request to the corresponding author.”
