Open Access Policies
Annals of Psychology is clearly committed to the Open Science paradigm as expressed in the "Manifesto on Open Science as a Global Public Good: Non-Commercial Open Access" issued by the 2023 Toluca Summit. He is also a signatory of the Sant Joan d'Alacant Declaration in defense of open access to scientific publications, promoted by the Group of Editors of Spanish Journals on Health Sciences (GERECS).
According to DOAJ, open access journals are defined as those in which "the copyright holder of a scholarly work grants usage rights to third parties through an open license (Creative Commons or equivalent). This allows free and immediate access to the work and allows any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, track them for indexing, transfer them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose."
This journal provides its content in immediate, full-text open access, based on the principle that allowing free access to research results allows for greater global knowledge sharing.
Currently, Annals of Psychology is a "gold" open access publication. Therefore, it is a peer-reviewed scientific journal whose contents are accessible without the need for purchase or subscription, in which the author retains the copyright and grants the journal the first publication of his or her work, and the journal allows through a Creative Commons BY-SA 4.0 license for the use and reuse of published content (see Copyright and License for details of our open access).
