How do Faculty use Virtual Classrooms?

Abstract

The research deals with the use of online lessons made by lecturers together with teaching on site. It is linked to a wider investigation based on teaching methods mediated at Universidad de La Laguna. It shows those Moodle tools used by lecturers, paying attention to the information posted on them, the activities that are asked from students, etc. Moreover, lecturers’ opinions and assessments will be taken into account in relation to the use of the online lessons. The aim of this research is to show how lecturers are working when teaching in virtual sites, making good use of positive aspects and being aware of aspects that could be improved.
