Abstract

The new educational context, implemented through the European Higher Education Area, implies new assessment methodologies based in competences assessment in which students play an active role, participating actively in their own assessment process. Nevertheless, Moodle just allows the assessment of teachers to students. In this study we show how to equip Moodle with the possibility of involving students in assessment, adding two new models: self-assessment and peer assessment. To do so, the tool used is EvalCOMIX, a web service designed specifically with this aim.
