DESCUBRIMIENTO DE ANDREW PALMER EN SU LIBRO MONK AND MASON ON THE TIGRIS FRONTIER, CAMBRIDGE 1990
Abstract
This article presents the interpretation that A. Palmer made in regards to what even he had called «the ancient library», in the abbey of Qartmin (Tur 'Abdin, in Turkey), and that he had identified and designated as an «ossuary». We prefer to call it a columbarium, (dovecote) which means the same thing. And we add an explanation to demonstrate how the theology and ideology were the same thing for the East and for the West. This reason can be the key element that clarifies the use and postures relative to the ideas held regarding death and for some of the uses of the relics.Downloads
