INFORMACIÓN SOBRE TRABAJOS EN CURSO EN UNA ALDEA DEL ÉUFRATES MEDIO (REPÚBLICA ÁRABE SIRIA)
Abstract
Coinciding with the Spanish archaeological mission in Qara Qiizg, the author of this report lived with the habitants of this village, and in others nearby, investigating the place names and canying out local ethnological and cultural studies. The results have been of great interest in the field of archaeology: it has been possible to identify some of the key points of the ancient geography which has reinforced the archaeological work. The questions related to the cultural continuity are posed in a new light and the importance of the close interrelation of the distinct areas of the field work is demonstrated.Downloads
