LA RECUPERACIÓN ARQUEOLÓGICA DEL BALNEARIO ROMANO DE FORTUNA
Abstract
The result of the excavation works that are carried out in the area of those "Moorish Bathrooms", it has provided us the complete exhumation of a rectangular building with a total of 11 articulate rooms around a central patio. It has an opened space up in their NE side, in which there are two deposits of water, posibly reservoirs. The functionality of this building would be serving from lodging to people that enjoyed the bathrooms in Roman time; this building could have been part of a first thermal establishment whose chronology would be around the century 1 after Xto, although the cultural continuity is clearly demonstrated in this area from the Age of the Brass.Downloads
