LA PRESENCIA DE LOS COLUMBARIOS/PALOMARES EN LA TOPONIMIA
Abstract
This article is only the gathering together al1 the place names in La Rioja and Murcia that mention pigeon lofts, columbarium, dovecote, etc., and rhe semantic fields related to these. Not only in the North but also in the south of the Peninsula there are abundant references to places where doves are reared. But this panorama in La Rioja does not adapt to those verified archaeologically. In Murcia we have the case where the place name «El Palomar», refers to a cave.Downloads
