El monasterio de Albelda. Un cenobio rupestre
Abstract
Archaeological information of grand importance for the clarification of the historical meaning of the Monastery of Albelda has been presented in this article. It has always been widely known, specially for its manuscripts, which are now kept in El Escorial. The author, born in this town, was priest there during the decisive years when the old church had to be demolished and rebuilt under his supervision. Some of the information given woññ be talemm omtp accpimt amd isefi ñ om re-defining the
cenobium's history, and it will also essential for future investigations on the site where the old buildings were located during Antiquity.
