Abstract

Carpeta Digital is a generator of electronic portfolios' that has been designed and developed on pedagogical and technological principles. These principles are based on the main idea that portfolio's space is not only for the scholar or academic uses but has a personal planner use too This paper presents an approach to the Carpeta Digital's creation process. Also the pedagogical and technological features of the system are explained. The second part of this paper is focused on the use of the tool in a particular context: the University of Barcelona. Results from students’ surveys are shown and analyzed.
