Abstract

In this paper, we will analyse the interaction ways of a multiagent tutoring system, that we call AGENTGEOM, with a student in the resolution of a mathematical problem that compares flat surface areas. In this interaction, the student is able to appropriate strategic and arguing skills in the problem solving. We notice that these appropiations are a consequence of the student- AGENTGEOM communication ways, since in them there is a combination of graphic constructions and written sentences, which follow mathematical language laws, and written languages in natural language.
