NUEVAS CATEGORÍAS DE OFICIANTES EN EL CORPUS DE RITUALES DE EMAR
Abstract
The Emar rituals took place in the middel Euphrates valley and date from the late Bronze Age. In this article we shalls be examining three posible new categories of "player" without precedent in the neighbouring areas, namely "the men of consecration", "the Lord of the House" and the mai'artu priestess. These would appear to be throwbacks from the religious practices of an earlier semi-nomadic culture. (...)Downloads
