Tolerancia e intolerancia religiosa en las cartas de Jerónimo

Abstract

An analysis of Jerome's letters provides abundant material about religious tolerance and intolerance in one of the main Christian writers during the Late Antiquity. His attitudes against Arianism, Apolinarism, against Origen and Pelagius are particularly interesting. In contrast to this attitude, it is surprising his tolerance faced with the absolutely not evangelical lives of some bishops and the omission of information about Jerome's point of view about Paganism.
