Abstract
This work is a reflection on what the great historians have written about the Cantabrian wars throughout the history of the investigation. We have not tried to collect all the variations of the theme according to the innumerable authors who have dealt with the subject. In this panorama, the novelty of E. Martino's statements is better seen.
