Metodología utilizada en un trabajo sobre visualización matemática
Abstract
This paper tells us about the reasons which guided us to choose a qualitative methodology —case studies— as a fundafollows: (a) to enquire whether two 8th grade pupils (in a school and at a determined classroom) made use of mental images or not when they solved mathematical problems, or when they had to find a meaning for the mathematical questions they were asked, and also, (b) to analyze the role played by the teacher in this mathematical activity.
