The use of the Tic’s in the basic education of youths and adults of urban and rural communities of the southeast of Mexico

Abstract

The use of the information technologies and the communication (Tic ́s) in the different levels and educational systems have a significant impact in the development of the learning of the students and in the strengthening of their competences for the life and the work that will favor their insertion in the company of the knowledge. In this work investigates the use of the tics, in the basic education of youths and adults through the Model of Education for the Life and the Work (MEVyT) in its virtual modalities and in linea in urban and rural communities of the State of Yucatan. The results of this study document the opinion of the adult and young people (PJA) with regard to their abilities for the use of the tic' s, their opinion about the two modalities, and the difficulties that face as the users. The results are discussed under the Sectorial Program of Education 2007-2012 of Mexico.
