Hybrid learning and telehealth in surgical training during the pandemic
Abstract
In relation to the recently published article Telehealth and teaching of surgery (1), we would like to comment on our experience in which hybrid teaching was carried out with an inverted classroom (2) to incorporate knowledge, with the theoretical classes previously recorded and placed on a Moodle platform installed on the Medical Sciences Campus without restrictions on use regarding consultation times and days. The practical activities implemented were face-to-face from special viewing platforms in the different operating rooms during the final months of the pandemic due to partial restrictions on attendance at the healthcare center.
