Mozarabic monasticism - Approach to the east of al-Andalus
Abstract
In this study an intent is made to approach the problem of the Christian monasticism under the Moorish domination in the Iberian Peninsula, observing how it developed and survived in a markedly repressive atmosphere. Besides, an intent is made to establish its social projection in the Moorish Spain.
