Una fuente indirecta para el conocimiento de la España bizantina: Esteban de Bizancio
Abstract
This article is based on the lecture of all the passages of Esteban de Bizancio which make reference to Hispa nia. i t is evident that the geography that this author knows is limited primarily to the Mediterranean coast. It is suggested the posibility that the reason for this is the political reality of the restauration of the ORBJS ROMAN US carried out by Justinian, and for which reason Esteban de Bizancio could be considered an indirect source for the study of the Bizantine expansion in the Iberian Peninsula.
