Elementos arquitectónicos del Cabezo de Roenas
Abstract
Un fragmento de sillar de arenisca, dura, de color amarillo. Presenta en una de sus caras una faja o filete, y unas molduras cuya forma nos hace recordar una gola, sin embargo no se ajusta exactamente a ella, porque tiene una forma convexa de más. Por otra parte, la pieza está rota en su cara superior, por lo que la interpretación resulta muy confusa. Ante estos datos podemos pensar que si estaba apoyada sobre su área menor, podría haber formado parte de una cornisa. Y si hubiera estado apoyado en el lado contrario, quizás su función hubiera sido la de basa de una pilastra. Pero, por ahora, lo único que podemos ofrecer sobre esta pieza son conjeturas.
