Fuego en la fuente: sobre dos epígrafes de la Cueva Negra de Fortuna y su conexión con Virgilio y otros poetas latinos
Abstract
Commentary and interpretation of Fortuna epigraphs nos. 13 and 11 Mayer. The link with ancient texts which proclaim the erotic dangers of bathing resorts is signaled, the epigrammatic quality and the stylistical resources of these works are emphasised and the literary nature of such inscriptions —non ritual, even though there are mythical allussions— is stressed.
