Abstract

This contribution is about an experience of blended learning articulated in the FACE to FACE proposal of Educational Technology Course at the Education Sciences in UNLP – National University of La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. It took place during 5 years , within an interuniversity collaboration of that university and the CTER- Educational Technology and Curricular Reform Center of the University of Illinois, USA. It describes and systematized important referential points of the experience such as the perception of the educational technological innovation , the level of telematic participation and interaction in forum and other interactive spaces ( wikis, webquests, etc) perfomed by the students, future professionals of Education Sciences.. It is included the instructional re-design of the curricular proposal with the combination of ICT within the open source moodle system used. Besides that, it takes care about the reformulation of the role of the traditional university professor , the development of cognitive and metacognitive skills during the course , which were registered by un e-Portfolio and a student self -monitoring done in Diaries, creation of educational technological knowledge with the implementation of webquest , etc.. Se señalan también las fortalezas y debilidades y diversos puntos abiertos para investigaciones posteriores continuando las líneas internacionales de trabajo y de investigación lideradas y publicadas por varias instituciones mundiales centradas en la práctica de la Educación a Distancia basada en Internet .
