HOW TO DEVELOP CONTENTS FOR ON LINE TRAINING BASED ON LEARNING OBJECTS
Abstract
Many educational organisations, particularly those involved in higher education are seriously studying the incorporation of new technologies into their educational processes. The use of technology involves a radical change, not only in the training methodology proposed, but also in the guidelines that have be taken into account when it comes to considering the process of developing a course for totally online or mixed training (combined with presential learning). Content development is one of the most important aspects to take into account in the process of integrating new technologies into the classroom. This development includes a series of guidelines to be taken into account that not only involve a major change in learning methodology, but which also increase the possibilities of personalising and adapting learning environments to the special, specific needs of each user. The paper presented below shows the possibilities of developing contents and creating learning environments that favour the fulfilment of teaching aims. All of this is based on the new concept of development based on Learning Objects, which not only provides the trainer and the participant with the major benefits of a training action, but which also incorporates major advances and benefits throughout the preliminary development phase due to the possibilities of re-using and updating established in the process of creating and designing a learning environment.Downloads
