Abstract
This review deals with the recent work published by Raúl González Salinero: Morality, persecution and martyrdom in the origins of Christianity. An ideological construction. In it, the author exposes through 9 chapters the intentionality and manipulation of Christian sources about persecution, morality and martyrdom. It is an essential work to open new perspectives or continue working on those that make a revisionism of ecclesiastical historiography and contemporary sources to the first persecutions in the origins of Christianity.
