Geógrafos y geografía en el imperialismo macedonio: Autopsia vs. Tradición
Abstract
Una de las mayores paradojas existentes en la historiografía moderna que investiga la geografía griega, y la antigua en general, es considerar la expedición de Alejandro de Macedonia como vital para la ampliación del conocimiento del mundo1 y, al mismo tiempo, pensar que los historiadores que le acompañaron se limitaron a seguir la tradición en sus obras . Si la innovación no está presente en los hombres que escribieron sobre las nuevas tierras ¿dónde debe buscarse?
