Abstract

The aim of this article is to emphasize the importance of D. Claudio Sánchez-Albornoz in relation to the development of the studies about the Late Antiquity from the 40s to the 70s. We also go shortly over his life and works, together with his main contributions to the historiographical discussion as Historian.
