Partiality in the historical narrative: Hannibal
Abstract
The Greco-Latin historiography, because its authors consider its history as a propagandistic work, as a literary recreation or because they are a mere compilation of data, offers with an evident partiality the historical narrative. Thus it appears in the sources preserved about the Second Punic War and about Hannibal. The objectives of the work are to show the conservation of the historians of the winning side and the partiality they show in the narration of Hannibal's behavior.
