Abstract

Based on the need to systematize criteria for evaluating applications reading for children, in an objective manner the article proposes a list of indicators structured parameters which in turn are grouped into the dimensions of form and content. The form dimension includes the availability, acquisition, security, privacy, popularity, recognition, usability and ergonomics. Contended the covers of indicators related to authorship, update, accessibility, organization, customization and interaction with content and audio quality and interactivity. As a result, practical application the article proposes a template that includes the fundamental aspects and evaluate the indication of those that are recommended or required in order to facilitate the selection of children's reading applications.
