Una herramienta de evaluación para comparar la experiencia académica de los estudiantes universitarios
Abstract
In this study, a questionnaire widely used at higher education institutions in the United States to assess the extent to which sutdens engage in a variety of activities has been analysed in order to adapt in to the Spanish higher education system. The interest of this adaptation lies in the fact that it enables us to compare our information about the student's perception of their higher education experience with that of the students of a higher education system considered as an international reference. Validity of the questionnaire based on the fact that it ts designed to assess what students do at university isntead of measuring institutional resources.
This informatin might be relevant for identifying action lines within the Lisbon Agenda in relation to the international competitiveness of European higher education. In addition, the results show that the questionnaire is useful for gathering information for acreditation and assessment processes carried out in Spain.
