Calidad del profesorado: un modelo de competencias académicas
Abstract
On this era we are confronting challenges in higher education that maybe 15 years ago we could not imagine. Deep changes in society and in the international relations have also changed the reality of professionals in work and students in running for professionalization. Consequently, the formation process, research priorities and institutional interaction must be reconsidered to make coherent the university-society relation. One way to enter in this removing scenario is the analysis and redefinition of academic profession, understanding that the professor is an essential part of the university’s potential in this century. On this perspective, this article presents the fundamentals of our doctoral thesis that have produced a model of teacher competencies useful for universities in general. The theoretical bases; keys of the empirical study and the complete model are exposed on this paper.Downloads
