Abstract
The objective of this paper is to analyse the perception of Lecturers about the planning and innovation of assessment. To do so, a survey research was implemented using the ActEval questionnaire. 427 lecturers have punctuated the degree in which considered that activities related to planning and innovation in assessment are important, as they feel competent to implement them and the frequency of application. Results show that lecturers considered the tasks related to planning and design and innovations in assessment as very important, they perceived themselves as competent to implement such practices, however, the implementation occurred at a slightly lower pace. The assessment tasks that received the lowest ratings in the importance and competence criterion were related with e-assessment, design of assessment tools, coordination among lecturers, professional development and training in assessment and continuous improvement of assessment. Significant differences were found depending on the years of teaching experience and the field of knowledge.
