La investigación educativa: naturaleza, funciones y ambigüedad de sus relaciones con la práctica y la política educativas
Abstract
In this article an analysis of some aspects related to the nature and utility of educational research as well as some variables which hamper its execution and the acceptance of its results is performed. The classical classification of the educational research functions is revisited uncovering a need to adjust this proposal to the evolving situation of the field. The analysis of the reasons used to justify a somewhat ambivalent image that characterizes the educational research exposes a complex situation in which different components take part. As for the problem of the low educational research relevance some factors related to it are analysed and some potentially correcting measures are suggested.Downloads
