El análisis de datos en la evaluación de programas educativos
Abstract
First of all, the characterization of the data analysis in the context of the educational program evaluation is discussed. For this, program evaluation is considered as applied research, and the stages of the process and the evaluation types are examined.
The second part is devoted to present some techniques such as regression and discrimination, segmentation, the factorial techniques, the time series, the structural equations models and, above all, the hierarchical linear models and the meta - analysis.
Finally, questions related to the data and results communication, presentation and dissemination are discussed focusing the differences between two audiences: the evaluators, members of the scientific community, and the clients, users or stakeholders.
