La evaluación de programas educativos: conceptos básicos, planteamientos generales y problemática
Abstract
The necessary connection between Pedagogy and education, as its knowledge object, is the theme of analysis when we put forward accommodated studies on educational evaluation, in general, and on educational programmes evaluation, in particular.
The evaluation of programmes is analysed, on the one hand, with the double approach of the improvement of educational activity implemented by teachers and educators and, from the other one, of evaluative research.
The author offers as object of analysis three basic concepts: programme, evaluation and programme evaluation, by suggesting a methodological proposal particularly directed towards evaluation of educational programmes.
Finally, a consideration is offered on some themes particularly critical, such as the expert´s role, the evaluation feasibility, the ethical implications of evaluation or the results comparability.
