Abstract

In this text we show an experience developed in the subject Anthropology of the of Social Work degree. We analyse the affordances of pedagogy of SWAD (Web System Support for Education), the Learning Management System (LMS) of the University of Granada. We focus our discussion on the description of the design and application of a Self-learning Guide, and the functions that teachers and students have given to it in order to work skills for intervention in contexts of cultural diversity. The implementation of this tool has allowed us, as we will show, to assess not only knowledge but also the skills and attitudes developed by the students along the course in the process of teaching and learning. We conclude our work with a reflexion about the shift of the epistemological paradigm we are experimenting today.
