Abstract

Nowadays, we are living a moment in which changes in Higher Education favour investigations about the use of virtual resources as mediators of the teaching and learning process. In this context we have designed and implemented DiagWeb, a webpage based on the Webquest structure and philosophy, with the distinction of having as the aim to guide, direct and organize an autonomous design and creation of tutored projects at the university, instead of being oriented to the solution of a question. The HTML files that make up the Web have been uploaded in a Moodle directory (Virtual Campus of the subject). Moodle works as a server; it offers the possibility of adding applications for communication, of giving feedforward, and it allows, through the learning management system, to centralize the resources offered. In this paper we describe the theoretical grounding of DiagWeb, its composition and implementation with 130 students of the last course of an education degree. Lastly, the results of the questionnaire to gather the perceptions and evaluation of the participants of the experience are offered.
