Abstract

Teaching of performing arts presents the necessity of using new technologies for effective realization of the fact supplementary face. The spread of viewing interactive multimedia educational materials in virtual campus environment is one of the proposals. The use of free software and formats open coding ensures the preservation of cultural heritage which public institutions as depositories and custodians. The maturity of the specifications of multimedia semantics metadata as MPEG-7 and transactional organizational framework of digital objects such as MPEG- 21 provides the coverage needed for implementation. Project of modernization in both teaching their arguments are in line with corporate strategic objectives, in language relevant to the IT governance of public institutions. The project outlined is intended as a prototype assembly of standardized components under open specifications. The basic objective is thus the provision of functional adaptation to the requirements of educational planning.
