Abstract
The article is a review of the didactic books published by the University of Extremadura about Carlos V and la Vera. The emperor chose the region for his retreat, specifically the Yuste monastery, but the area has enormous heritage, natural and historical value, which the work analyzes and presents using educational and playful resources and illustrating the content.
