Abstract
We are facing a suggestive work in which Professor María José Bravo continues, this time alone, with a line of research in which she has been standing out in recent years, when she coordinated, together with Professor Rosalía Rodríguez, two interesting works Collectives: Mulier: Some Histories and Institutions of Roman Law (2013) and Women in the Times of Augustus: Social Reality and Legal Imposition (2016). On this occasion, she will use two powerful figures from ancient Rome, Lucrezia and Cornelia, to investigate some of the most significant legal and historical institutions in the history of republican Rome. These women, as well as the events they starred in, would have a future influence that will go far beyond the space-time limits of the Roman world.
