Abstract

This article aims to show a singular illustration of a possible future philosophy of the limit, i.e. of the pure transition and transgression of determinations, and this precisely at the heart of Plato´s philosophy, which is -correctly- considered as the foundation of the metaphysics of being as a constant presence. The well-know myth of the soul as a vinged chariot is so interpreted as a chiasmatic interaction between the idea of Beauty and the Feeling of Fright, a tension which is supported and linguistically different by the poet, possesed by 'divine madness'. The paper´s intention is to prove the close analogy of 'Phaidros´' soul and his destiny as retention and inversion of the temporal ploasure on the one hand, and the hermeneutical open course of an endless dialog on the other hand.
