Comorbilidad de TEA y TDAH: revisión sistemática de los avances en investigación
Resumen
La reciente publicación del DSM-5, introduce la novedad de aceptar la posibilidad de un diagnóstico comórbido del Trastorno por Déficit de Atención/Hiperactividad (TDAH) y el Trastorno de Espectro Autista (TEA).
En este artículo se realiza una revisión de trabajos que han estudiado esta comorbilidad. Se revisaron un total de 40 investigaciones, estableciendo 7 temáticas diferentes. Se observó que la presencia del TDAH en el TEA aumentaba la severidad de la sintomatología autista y que su comorbilidad estaba relacionada con tasas más altas de comportamientos disruptivos, de estrés parental, y una calidad de vida y habilidades sociales más pobresDescargas
