Abstract

This article is a summary of the methodological aspects and the results of a doctoral thesis structured and madding for showing the always exquisite processing that the journalists awarded to the Spanish international actor Francisco Rabal (Águilas Murcia) 1926 – Burdeos (Francia) 2001). It’s an analysis of journalistic contents, accrudings of and incredible hemerographic documentation, according to social research methods with qualitative character, projective and interpretative, and also, taking into account the extreme importance of the no verbal communication and the value of iconic things. The two more contributions of the investigation and his individual analysis are, in one hand, the methodological design that includes journalism and sociology and, in the other hand, the artistic showing and the special affection that Francisco Rabalfrom scratch and become into a legend- always received from the journalists, whose power and social influence, located him in the myth category.
