The relationship between the integration of information and communication technologies and their knowledge
Abstract
The integration of Information and communication technologies (ICT) requires the teachers to be competent, both technologically and pedagogically. In this work, the competences in ICT of teachers are studied, in particular the relationship between the technological competences and the pedagogical competences. For it, it has been used a survey design and a sample, randomly selected, of the non university teachers of the Comunidad Valenciana, to those that have been applied a questionnaire. It has found a significant relationship between technological competences and pedagogical competences in the sense that the former represent both a base as a facilitator of the latter. This means that the teachers must know the TIC to integrate them in their daily practice. However, both the relationship and its structure should not be simplified.Downloads
