Abstract

This paper examines the support for the inclusion of employees with disabilities in the workplace, based on gender. We chose a random sample of 123 employees of both sexes working in the textile sector. The Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) was used as a theoretical model of reference. The results showed a trend in the workplace opposite to that identified by Alonso, Navarro and Vicente (2008), and Novo-Corti, Muñoz-Cantero and Calvo-Porral (2011) on attitudes of inclusion in schools. Results showed that the intention to support inclusion was determined by perceived control and that gender is a relevant variable to explain intention.
