Abstract

This paper deals with several issues relative to the Murcia’s households educational expenditure. On one hand, it is studied the characteristics of households with members undergoing primary and secondary studies. On the other, an estimation of the Murcia’s households educational expenditure in the 95/96 course, taking into account total expenditures and per student, in each educational level and, if possible, according to the ownership of the center. Finally, fundamental factors on which the educational expenditure variable depends are determined by means of multivariate techniques.
