Abstract

This study shows the high accordance between the primary logopedical diagnosis (detection test) made by a teacher and a technical diagnosis issued by experts using an ad hoc instrument of measurement (diagnosis test).

Additionally, it exposes the low rates of error (type I and II) derived from the use of such detection test. The validity of this instrument (metric and diagnostical) is explored. Finally it also points out which specific anomalies (discriminant variables) allow us to detect subjects with logopedical deficits.
