Abstract

This work is the result of a Teaching Innovation Project developed during the current academic year by teachers from the Universities of Huelva and Seville, Spain, and school teachers. The aim of the study was the design of a teaching program for the subject of “Mathematics” taught in the Module of Basic Training in Business and Economics, as part of the new Business Degree and Finance and Accounting Degree, which are soon to begin at the University of Huelva.

In order to develop our draft, we took into account, on the one hand, the requirements of the Bologna process on learning by competences, and on the other, the suggestions of teachers of the above mentioned degrees, who teach subjects other than maths but need mathematical tools.
